Welcome to my bookbinding blog. I have had a binding passion since 2001 when I made an artist book edition of 10 titled Comfort Food. Creating an artist book structure from the beginning appeals to my enjoyment of combining design and content in a codex structure.
From artist books, I migrated to bookbinding. This time-honored craft sharpens the designer’s wits and hones their hand skills. It is satisfying to conceptually express a book’s narrative through the cover design.
